Behind every great product is a great company or two...
What is seyDesign?
seyDesign is a RapidWeaver theme development project initiated by Adam Merrifield of seyDoggy. seyDesign has since become known as one of the premier RapidWeaver theme developers and distributors, trusted the world over.
When was seyDesign started?
seyDesign was launched in mid November of 2005 and has long since been considered an innovator and originator in the RapidWeaver theme development community.
Who are the main players?
seyDesign currently receives contributions from seyDoggy, Varsis Studio, Vortex Themes, DEVi8.design and Med Designs.
Why do we do it?
seyDesign develops themes for web authoring platforms to help bring those web capabilities to the masses. An attractively designed website can help many small budget companies look professional, eye catching and help them grow.
How do we get things done?
seyDesign develops all themes with expertly created graphics, the latest technologies, valid code and collaborative creativity.
We keep an eye on the market and the trends and find the balance between what's hot versus what the public is ready to adopt.
Now you know the team, it's time to meet the players.
About seyDoggy.
seyDoggy, founded in September 2005, is a small outfit that specializes in web and graphic design. Owned and operated by Adam Merrifield, seyDoggy has a world wide client base who seek out seyDoggy's excellent front end user interface designs.
Though most of the heavy lifting is performed by Adam, seyDoggy does, from time to time, draw on other developers internationally to help tackle larger projects and back end programming.
seyDoggy launched seyDesign in November 2005 and expanded the contributor line-up in mid 2006 with the release of "Duo" on June 23, 2006. "Duo" was codeveloped with Varsis Studio and was the first commercially available RapidWeaver theme to offer split navigation.
About Adam.
Adam Merrifield is a 30-something family guy, happily married, raising three kids. He used to mock computer geeks until, sadly, his wife pointed out that he IS one.
With a keen interest in all things code-like, Adam spent years hand coding everything he could get involved with. Adam's first experiences with CSS dates back to an early encounter with Alleycode, a Windoze based HTML editor that utilized a basic CSS wizard to apply only the most basic of CSS properties.
The love affair with CSS has grown since then and Adam's plans for complete and total world domination hang entirely on the omniscient power he hopes to gain from CSS 3.

When he is not plugged into his computer pushing pixels, he enjoys playing his acoustic guitar, video games, and volleyball.
About Varsis Studio.
Varsis Studio started in 2005 as a simple web design company. In the last few years, our reputation has grown to respectable heights through RapidWeaver and our collaboration with seyDoggy.
With close ties to the once well known web authoring app, Site Studio, Varsis Studio founder, Chris Pavlicek was responsible for many of the apps built in themes. After Site Studio's untimely demise, Chris and Varsis Studio took up camp in the RapidWeaver developer circuit.
Not long after, Varsis Studio and seyDoggy started talking about possible collaborations on seyDesign. On June 23 2006, their first collaborative effort, "Duo" was released on seyDesign.com; the first commercial RapidWeaver theme to have split navigation.
About Chris.
Chris Pavlicek is a young coding whiz, living in Alberta, Canada; land of the sandy black gold.
In the summer, Chris spends more time on the links or goofing around on his dirt bike then he spends coding, but it doesn't seem to cramp his style. He could code his way out of a Rubik's cube and still be on time for dinner.
Pavlicek has been entrenched in web design for about six years, having played a key roll in development of the now defunct Site Studio.
Like so many others, Chris gravitated towards CSS when he realized the force was strong in CSS 2. In joining seyDoggy and Vortex, Chris hopes to rule the universe... after he finishes the eighteenth hole.

About Med-Designs.
Med-designs opened its online doors on July 29 2004. It was one of the first third party Rapidweaver theme suppliers on the net.

About Scott.
Scott Williams is a 23-year-old web designer and a self-confessed art and technology nerd.
As a young lad Scott soon realized his real talent was in art, and quickly decided that when he was all grown up he wanted to be a designer. After many years of sitting in front of a monitor, Scott started to become pretty handy with a mouse and enjoyed nothing more than pushing pixels and jotting down code.
Today Scott can be found working as a web designer in an office high above the cobbled streets of central London, or shouting at the TV while gaming on his 360.
