Something HUGE is going down!

On December 26th 2009, Boxing Day, we had our biggest one day sale ever… since then we have been inundated with the same question over and over again, “When is the next big sale?”

Let the countdown begin…

    Hey,

Just found out that you had a huge sale… last year and this spring. Fired an email looking for a new bundle purchase and the team said NO Exceptions! Now I was not going to complain but the missive I got back from customer service was telling me to do just that. So, with that in mind, my thoughts are that since SeyDesign has nice stuff for sale, most folks would like to buy as much as they can afford. Occasionally, we buy more that needed if we could take advantage of a sale. Having a sale for 4 days is a good thing, offering bundles is even better. That translates in less sales if I am right-4 days only… so why not having a bundle deal on an ongoing basis or at least quarterly??? We could use your products to create more opportunities for our business and at the same time increase your business, would that hurt anyone’s feelings at Seydesign?

Next meeting you guys have, invite your finance/sales fellows, if you don’t have one, time to do the math…

Quarterly eh? This blog has been around for many years… I’ll let you do the searching (and the math). I bet it works out to about 4 times a year. ;)

Listen, we go through this with each and every sale, someone misses out and cries foul. We come back saying, “follow us on Twitter, join the member group or subscribe to this RSS feed and you won’t miss the next sale.” Short of taking out ads in the paper, our sales get as wide coverage as we could possibly manage. But here is the thing, sales are designed to reward those loyal customers who subscribe to one of the aforementioned streams of company info. But more importantly sales teach those who’ve missed out that there is something to be gained from lending us your ear.

Hope this helps you understand our position.
