About Flavorite and ExtraContent
Flavorite has four ExtraContent areas, in the custom header, pre and post content areas* and in the footer. Each area will appear automatically when ExtraContent is detected.
Each ExtraContent area in Flavorite is vertically scalable, meaning these areas will grow to suit the content within. And as always, these ExtraContent areas are an option. You can choose to use them or leave them off allowing you to use Flavorite as you would any other RapidWeaver theme.

About ExtraContent
ExtraContent is hard to describe until you have seen it in action. You see, in a typical RapidWeaver theme, you can only enter text, pictures, movies, etc, in two places; the main content area and the sidebar area. That's o.k. for many, but for the serious web designer or the creative enthusiast this formula is just too limiting. ExtraContent allows you to go beyond just the main content and sidebar. ExtraContent allows you to add text, pictures, complex layouts and much more, in places never before accessible in the usual RapidWeaver theme.
With the ExtraContent Stack for YourHead Software's Stacks plugin, or just a simple bit of code and this ExtraContent enabled theme, you can access more content areas. Here are a few resources to get your started:
ExtraContent is Optional
Just because we made it possible, doesn't mean you have to use it. You can toggle the ExtraContent areas on or off in the event that you do not require them. The theme will remain just as functional with or without ExtraContent. It's just another tool to have for your toolbox.

Flavorite for RapidWeaver has had a major overhaul, making many improvements and adding many new enhancements and features:
- Markup converted to HTML5
- Many JavaScript features replaced with CSS 3
- All new, advanced slide show with 6 sequences and selectable duration, effect and transition speed

Flavorite for RapidWeaver has been updated to address issues with Stacks columns (2 or 3) in ExtraContent area 1, where the width was not inherited properly from the parent element:

March 31, 2010 - Flavorite r2 update
Flavorite for RapidWeaver has been updated to increase compatibility with various Stacks and 3rd party plugins. A new set of sidebar options has been added for those who want to show the sidebar navigation and sidebar blog elements but not the sidebar content. Patched an issue where leaving the title blank would result in the slogan shifting place:
