Gotem is a sophisticated, contemporary RapidWeaver theme of extraordinary beauty and capability. Gotem is enabled with ExtraContent, an optional feature that allows you to add more content in more places with the help of a little RapidWeaver snippet.
The Ultimate features of Gotem include ExtraContent, RWmultitool ready, split navigation, full color options, width control, font size and font family selections.
About Gotem and ExtraContent
Gotem includes 3 ExtraContent areas; the Subheader and the Subfooter and "traditional" sidebar. The Subheader and the Subfooter are fixed height so you may only fill the area that you can see in the demo. The "traditional" sidebar was a later addition to allow users to add content to what we would consider the "traditional" sidebar location instead of, or in addition to the area it currently occupies, beside the header image.
Gotem's ExtraContent areas are an option. You can choose to use them or leave them off allowing you to use Gotem as you would any other RapidWeaver theme.
About ExtraContent
ExtraContent is hard to describe until you have seen it in action. You see, in a typical RapidWeaver theme, you can only enter text, pictures, movies, etc, in two places; the main content area and the sidebar area. That's o.k. for many, but for the serious web designer or the creative enthusiast this formula is just too limiting. ExtraContent allows you to go beyond just the main content and sidebar. ExtraContent allows you to add text, pictures, complex layouts and much more, in places never before accessible in the usual RapidWeaver theme.
With the ExtraContent Stack for YourHead Software's Stacks plugin, or just a simple bit of code and this ExtraContent enabled theme, you can access more content areas. Here are a few resources to get your started:
ExtraContent is Optional
Just because we made it possible, doesn't mean you have to use it. You can toggle the ExtraContent areas on or off in the event that you do not require them. The theme will remain just as functional with or without ExtraContent. It's just another tool to have for your toolbox.

We have updated Gotem in accordance with the latest version of ExtraContent r1.3. In addition we have added enhanced support for the "four5ths-left" and "four5ths-right" snippets found in the ExtraContent Snippets download.

January 7, 2009 - Gotem r2 update
We have updated Gotem for RapidWeaver to r2. In this update we have added a 3rd ExtraContent area to allow users to add content to the "traditional" sidebar area. Additionally, for users who don't use the RapidWeaver title and slogan fields, we have added some code to prevent that placeholder from collapsing.
